Stockinette Stitch

Stockinette stitch is the pattern most often used for sweaters. The right side looks like rows of flat Vs; the wrong side looks like rows of bumps.

Cast on any number of sts.

Row 1 (RS): Knit.

Row 2 (WS): Purl.

Rep rows 1 and 2 for stockinette stitch.
